30 Seconds To Neon Night

What happened lately;

Forever no decent picture of myself

Rocked so hard at MTV World Stage. Not really a fan of Pop Shuvit and Beast so I was just like, meh...
But when Neon Trees came out on stage I was more than ready to have fun. I tell you, Neon Trees is such a great band, Habits is such a good album, and from what I saw that night, they were fantastic live. Tyler Gleen (vocalist) was so much fun and I might have a girl crush on Elaine Bradley (drums). Sick drummer! Their performance was just wow, amazing. I would love for them to come back here again.

Neon Trees

30STM

*all concert pictures are not mine

As for the final act, 30 Seconds To Mars got the crowd super wild. No surprises here, they were just brilliant. Jared Leto communicated with the audience so well so kudos to him. He even brought like the most random people on stage and there were like so many of them! Obviously I am not one of them. There was this makcik with her pink outfit that went on stage I am just, wow seriously? That amused me a lot. While there were Beast fans who also went on stage and went like; "WTF am I supposed to do here??"

However, what I hated the most was the security. They were such losers assholes that deserve a kick in their balls. Such disrespectful people as well as stupid. Worst security ever.

Overall, the best concert ever after Paramore. Of course.

By the way....

Neon Tress is my new favourite band. I love all their songs in Habits. They sing amazing live and that is special.

Double the fun

Here is what happened for the past few days;

Monday: Nothing interesting.

Tuesday: Went to Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows premiere! In 3D! It was amazing, the movie, the crowd, also the fact that I got the tickets for free! But the movie, wow, I absolutely love it. It was a thrill ride, and the acting are exceptionally brilliant, not just Daniel (Harry), Rupert (Ron) and Emma (Hermione) but all of them especially Alan Rickman (Prof Snape). As a fan since ten years ago it was an emotional yet satisfying experience. An epic conclusion indeed.

We played dress up, being ourselves and just had so much fun.

Wednesday: I have been an Arsenal fan since I was 12 and guess what? As I am writing this I just witnessed one the most glorifying moment of my life, watching my favourite team plays against my national team. Not a fan of local football (just being honest) I surely put my money on Arsenal to win the match. And they did by beating Malaysia four goals to nil. Had an awesome night, definitely going to remember it for as long as I live. Oh, and Aaron Ramsey, you sexy beast played so well tonight. Also Ryo Miyachi the new signing really caught my attention. He was brilliant. The whole team were amazing. As for Malaysia, I have my highest respect for Kunalan for him being the only Malaysian player that functioned perfectly well. Praise for Malaysia for putting up a good fight though.

My brother.

Thursday and Friday and Saturday and Sunday: God knows.

Rowling in the deep

You know what is great? Next week is! I got a new job and I will start next week. It will help me fill up some time and also make more money for myself. Also, Arsenal vs Malaysia! How exciting! Of course, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows part 2! I remembered when I was eleven I watched its first ever installment; Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone. Now, almost ten years after that I am about to watch the epic conclusion. I am pretty sure that it will be bitter sweet. Even though I only started to read the book after watching the second or third movie, I must say I never regret that decision of reading the book written by the genius J.K Rowling. Every Harry Potter fan must really look up to her as much as I do for giving us such a magical experience.

The one and only, J.K Rowling

I may not be much of a reader myself, but I did read some decent books, some Nicholas Sparks' books, Cecilia Ahern's, Tony Parson's, etc (mostly what my sister bought for her reading pleasure), I also read Twilight and Narnia! My attempt to read Lord of The Rings failed miserably though. With all that, Harry Potter will always be on the top of my list for many reasons. Say, we all know that magic is not real but somehow Rowling managed to make it seems so real, and the value of love and friendship, the characters and their development, good versus evil, and most importantly how in the end love conquers all. Rowling are not scared to kill off important characters because it is part of the story development, and how it will effect the emotion of readers who are attached to the characters...that is the beauty of it. An avid Harry Potter fan myself, I love both the book and the movie, I grew up with them and Harry Potter will always be a part of me. After all, I have stuck with Harry until the very end.

July 14th 2011, bring it on!

Today's catch!

Wow how time flies! For all you know I am done with my practical training. Hardly feels like two months at all. I can finally take a deep breath and have a rest. Today have not been a bad day at all, on my way to work I found this beside the road which makes me smile;

I also bought SELF magazine with Zooey Deschanel on the cover and Hayley Williams featured in the magazine. Two of my favourite people in one magazine, what more could I ask for?

Of course, Galaxie magazine who have been my companion since I was in school uniform. Though this month's issue looks great, I have to say unfortunately the cover is badly photoshopped. I was also hoping for Harry Potter as cover issue but...

Finally tickets for Transformers 3 for tomorrow. Going with my buddies. As you can see the camera quality is at the crappiest since I used my webcam. I wonder where the camera is...

:)

Good day is good, true story.

Today is a good day! It is our big boss's birthday (technically it is tomorrow but why not) and we headed to Chili's for lunch. I never ever eat there before because personally I just think that everything there is just too expensive. So there I was, flipping through the menu like an idiot wondering what meal should I choose to eat because everything looks so delicious...and expensive lol. Eventually I decided to have a grilled beef and an ice-lemon tea as a drink. It was such a nice afternoon and we had fun. It was pretty much a birthday celebration, a farewell for me and Nancy who will be leaving the company this Friday and a welcoming feast for the newest designer for the company; a guy named Wan who happens to excel in sport and likes to brag about being good in PES (some playstation game thingy).

Then later that evening I joined Nancy to meet her lovely old friend who is fairly good looking, go for a jog everyday five round a day to stay in shape and I find her really nice and sempoi. Seriously, she is far from the awek2 cantik pastu tergedik2 ayam which is the best thing about her. It was a good meeting too, we had a simple meal and talked about stuff. It was nice. Everything was nice today. Hopefully tomorrow will be as nice or perhaps better. Insyallah :).

Zooey Deschanel appreciation post (because I can that's why)

le eyes *_*

I just love how awkwardly adorable she is. Also the fact that she can act, sing, dance and destroy mountains with her eyes. I made up the last part I know.

Meh...

Sooo what have I been doing for the past week? Nothing much, just sitting around during my practical training wondering when will it be over. Had my keyboard lesson yesterday, forgot about my friend's birthday invitation which I did not attend because, well, I forgot. I am such a lousy friend! While that was my Saturday, today which is Sunday I woke up at 10, drink a glass of water, had a shower, cleaned the room which was such a mess (it will be messy again in a couple of days I trust myself on this), watched season 2 finale of The Good Wife, watched a good movie on TV, fangirling, forgot to wash my shoes, patiently waiting for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2, wondering if Transformers 3 will be as good as the first, wondering if Rosie Huntington-Whitely can act, imagine myself smiling like on crack when I hear Paramore's Monster on Transformers 3, hating the fact that tomorrow is Monday which means work ugh, glad because this week will be the last week of my practical training, wondering why I am always hungry especially when late at night.
Meh.

p/s: I hope there is milk in the kitchen

Super Day

I tuned in to Hitz.fm today and it was Drive Thru with Natalie session. She said that there will be the premiere of Paramore's Monster in a few minutes and I was like "Homaigad luck must be on my side!". So there I was, waiting like a kid waiting for her candy and after Avril Lavigne's Smile and Chris Brown's Yeah (i hate this song btw) were played, there it was...the premiere of Monster on the radio. I've heard the song millions of times already but hearing your favourite song on the radio; it's such a great feeling.

While that's not the only story for today, I did not go to work today due to the whole staff vacation to Australia. While they're busy playing with kangaroos and koalas I set up a date with my dear friend Nancy to go watch Super 8. Quite a movie! Bit slow at times but it was entertaining and how I liked the humour. Don't get me wrong, it's not a comedy but it's more to science fiction and stuff but not all serious movies have to be serious ay? There's even a scene that was very moving it'll sure get those soft heart in tears. Definitely worth watching. The movie was directed by J.J Abrams and produced by Steven Spielberg. If that doesn't intimidate you, I dunno what will.

p/s: nothing.

I am Maksim in the making. Not.

I've always wanted to play a piano since I was a kid. However, piano is expensive, music class is expensive and my parents are not that supportive when it comes to this music stuff. I remembered once mom didn't even let us to play the guitar. Not saying that mom is old-fashioned but maybe she is. I still love you mom, always and forever. Then we grew up, we pretty much can do anything we want. My sister started to learn to play guitar and she told me about this place that offers music class for a super cheap price. I took that chance and today, I played the keyboard for the first time. Talk about awesomeness! While I wasn't born this way (see what i just did there?), there's still a lot for me to learn. I was thinking of buying myself a keyboard. Yup, we'll see how it goes. I am excited to see how far I can go with this keyboard thing. Hmm...

p/s; drum looks fun too.

Monster

Nope nothing to do with Lady Gaga. Here I am, still awake at past 2 in the morning have been listening to Paramore's Monster for the gazillionth times. I just love it. It really shows that Paramore is still going strong without the Farro brothers. Who knows, maybe better. Hats off to Hayley Williams, Jeremy Davis and Taylor York. So here it is, Monster by Paramore;

there are also uploads from youtube but most of them are blocked.

Monster- Paramore

You were my conscience, so solid now you’re like water
And we started drowning, not like we’d sink any farther
But i let my heart go, its somewhere down at the bottom
But I’ll get a new one and come back for the hope that youve stolen

I’ll stop the whole world, I’ll stop the whole world
from turning into a monster and eating us alive
dont you ever wonder how we survived?
Now that you’re gone, the world is ours.
oh oh oh oh, oh oh oh oh

I’m only human, I’ve got a skeleton in me
But i’m not the villain despite what you’re always preaching
Call me a traitor, I’m just collecting your victims
They’re getting stronger, I hear them calling (calling, calling)

I’ll stop the whole world, I’ll stop the whole world
from turning into a monster and eating us alive
dont you ever wonder how we survived?
Now that you’re gone, the world is ours.

Well, you thought of straight big solutions, well i liked the tension
We’re not always knowing the answers, you’re gonna lose it, you’re gonna lose it

I’ll stop the whole world, I’ll stop the whole world
from turning into a monster and eating us alive
dont you ever wonder how we survived?
Well, now that you’re gone the world is ours

I’ll stop the whole world, I’ll stop the whole world
from turning into a monster and eating us alive
dont you ever wonder how we survived?
Well, now that you’re gone the world is ours

p/s; Taylor York plays both guitar and drums for Monster.
"Yup!"

Wewewewewewewewewewewe third week of practical! How time flies. Apparently today, me friend's car broke down in the middle of the road while we managed to get out from the car because, uhm, a lorry might hit us or something which thankfully, they did not. So I will be the one who is driving to work tomorrow. The last time I drove a car was months ago so we will see how it goes. Despite being darn tired right now I feel like writing though I am not sure if anyone is actually willing to read my blog. If anyone of you IS reading my blog, I thank you for taking your precious time reading my awesome blog. But seriously, I am so tired I should get some sleep.

Lights off.

Eargasm

Did anyone notice that Blogger was down yesterday? Well, not today!

A couple of days ago I heard the song Rolling In The Deep by Adele. Realizing how cool that song is I went to Youtube to watch the official video that already has almost 60 million views! Wow, where have I been all along?! Then I decided to listen to her other songs and then I thought, might as well just download all her albums! And so I did. While her first album 19; managed to get me to sleep, her second album; 21 is just so damn good! Can I just say that she has the most amazing voice and Set Fire To The Rain is the best song I have heard in years? Yep, I declare that she is amazing and I love her. In fact, when I get the chance or in this case money I will go and buy 21 original CD. To go along with this, I did listened to some good albums lately. Especially the newest ones.

Vice and Virtues by Panic! at The Disco is definitely one of my favourite albums for 2011. Songs of choice? The Ballad of Mona Lisa, Sarah Smiles, Ready To Go.

Lenka is one of my favourite female artists and she proves her worth with her latest album TWO. This album does not lack her musical style which is catchy and cute but yet it is better than her first album. Definitely worth a listen. Songs of choice? Two, Heart Skips a Beat, Roll With The Punches.

Okay so who does not know Avril Lavigne? Our favourite girl is now bigger and better with Goodbye Lullaby. When I said better, it is better. Everybody now go and listen to Goodbye Lullaby please. Songs of choice? What The Hell, Push, Smile.

and of course THIS;

What should I say about Adele. Hmm, power house voice, British (note that I am not against anyone who is not British I just love their accent XD), she can sing live effortlessly and give you goosebumps, and she is a quality singer that every crappy singer should learn a thing or two from her (Rebecca *cough* Selena *cough*). 21 is an amazing album I must say, maybe it is because of her vocal or just her music that soothes the ear, or maybe it is just her. Love this album. Songs of choice? Rolling In The Deep, Turning Tables, Set Fire To The Rain, Someone Like You, Rumor Has It.

While we are here, can we just appreciate Set Fire To The Rain?

You are allowed to push the replay button as many times you want, well, if you want to...
